Social Cognition at Lehigh University.

The Psychology Department at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective Fall 2003. We seek a social psychologist who can contribute to the department's distinctive Ph.D. program (see http://www.lehigh.edu/~inpsy/gradprogram.html) by maintaining a vigorous research program that will attract external funding. Preference will be given to candidates with a cognitive orientation (broadly construed) and whose research interests are in the domain of either attitudes/persuasion/social influence or the self. Teaching will include quantitative methods at the graduate level. Ability to contribute to Lehigh's Cognitive Science, Environmental Studies, or Transformation of Social Structures foci is also desirable.
