FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Kingsborough Community College seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses at the Lecturer rank within the Psychology Program and related disciplines with a focus on social psychology, social/personality psychology, and/or social interaction theory. In addition to teaching, the candidate is expected to perform student advisement, and curriculum improvement as well as serve on departmental and college committees.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Master's degree preferred; Ph.D. highly preferred
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.

COMPENSATION

$51,021 - $91,027. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
