Please see the job posting for more information: https://careersearch.stanford.edu/jobs/research-coordinator-9269 (if the link doesn't work, search job code 86022) We are looking to hire five (5) Research Coordinators this year. This is a a two-year position — one year term with the expectation of a one year renewal. An ideal position for those looking toward PhD programs in marketing, organizational behavior, or social psychology. Working under the direction and supervision of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor, the Research Coordinator (RC) provides direct research support to the organizational behavior and behavioral marketing faculty and PhD students at the GSB Behavioral Lab. Research support, about 80+% of time, may consist of running experiment sessions, programming computer-based studies, data coding and entry, and gathering field data. In addition to research support, roughly 10% of time, the RC will provide administrative support for the Behavioral Lab. Administrative support may include communication with members of the participant pool, maintenance of the Lab website and participant pools, coordinating lab space scheduling, and ensuring the laboratory space is maintained. The Research Coordinator must be an independent self-starter who can take initiative, see projects through to completion, and understand the unique priorities and demands of lab-based experimentation. Excellent communication and computer skills (word, excel, helpful to know html, etc.) are essential; statistics ability desirable. An ability to balance multiple, competing projects working with multiple faculty and doctoral students is a must. A mature personality is also a must. The RC is responsible for maintaining a consistent and constant presence in the lab. The RC may also have opportunities to sit in on lab meetings, and seminars. Supervision may be minimal or intensive, depending on the project; the successful candidate should be able to work well with both styles.
