Multi-year research scientist and postdoctoral research positions: Department of Psychology, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. We have openings for a social or health psychologist with an interest in conducting research on basic processes related to attitudes, persuasion, and goals, as well as applications to health promotion. The work involves laboratory and field methods, as well as meta-analysis and analysis of social media information. Strong quantitative and writing skills are essential, as is the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. The funding is expected to lead to multiple publications a year in areas relevant to the research conducted in the social action lab:

Manuscripts led by the researcher can be based on existing data from the lab, or data collected by the researcher in areas of common interest, as long as a high level of productivity is sustained. The researchers are also expected to contribute to the writing of applications for Federal funding. Positions may be renewed up to 6 years with satisfactory performance. Applications are being accepted immediately and will be reviewed until the position is filled, at which point the ad will be removed.
