| Lecturer, Psychology | | | | | | | Bentley University's Natural and Applied Sciences Department invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Psychology, to begin in the Fall Semester, 2017. The successful candidate must have a doctorate in psychology or a relevant field. She/He must be an outstanding teacher who is eager to engage undergraduate students, most of whom are business majors. Candidates will need to be able to teach a wide range of elective courses such as personality, social, developmental, or other fundamental courses in psychology. The expected teaching load is four courses each semester. Our programs prepare Bentley graduates with a background in concepts related to the bio- psychosocial model of health across the lifespan. The colleague who joins us will be expected to advise students in Bentley's Health Studies B.A. program, Health & Industry concentration of the Liberal Studies Major, and our Psychology minor. Our ideal applicant will be a versatile generalist who truly enjoys teaching and mentoring undergraduates.
