Assistant Professor

The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seeks to fill a tenure track position in the areas of motivation, cognition, and development effective August, 2002. Applicants should have: (a) a relevant doctoral degree that includes training and primary expertise in motivation and cognition (b) an active research program in motivation (c) strong potential to attract extramural research funding, and (d) demonstrated excellence in teaching. The appointee will be expected to work collaboratively with the undergraduate teacher education program to teach a required course at the undergraduate level in Learning & Development and graduate level courses in motivation. Applicants should send a letter of application, current vita, three relevant publications and three letters of reference to: Dr. John R.
