WORKPLACE SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION

Tarrant County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse seeks a Ph.D.-level research analyst to assist in a small business health promotion program. This position will be of interest to those in the field of applied social psychology and the interface of social and organizational psychology.

Duties: data management and analysis, coordinate/ implement field design, publish/present research;

Requirements: 3 years exp. w/research portfolio; demonstrated statistical and project management skills; multivariate/multi-level designs; excellent communication skills. Preferred work with large survey data management and analysis.

POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED

A 3-year grant award from the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention to conduct a research study involving health promotion at small businesses in Tarrant, Denton, and Dallas Counties. The project will coordinate activities with the North Texas Small Business Development Center. The project involves evaluation of substance abuse prevention programs that link messages about prevention with team building/social health or individual health/stress management/time management.
