The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank for a sociologist specializing in community sociology and/or social psychology, preferably to begin August 19, 2002. In addition, ability to teach any of the following is desirable: introductory sociology, deviance, or human sexuality. Evidence of research and teaching excellence, and completion of the Ph.D. by August, 2002, are required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
