Our mission is to advance science and technology, and develop leading edge applications through high performance computing and computational science. We are seeking both recent and senior PhDs in cognitive, social, and/or personality psychology with strong interest, and preferably experience, in psychological measurement or decision science, ideally with application in the areas of habit formation or compulsive behavior (e.g. problem gambling, eating disorders, substance abuse). We are also seeking candidates, from psychology or other disciplines, with strong skills in quantitative analysis of individual-level patterns in large behavioral datasets. Appointees will join an interdisciplinary project creating algorithms and tools for analyzing high-volume behavioral data to identify individuals at risk of developing compulsive behavior. Appointees will also have the opportunity to contribute to our MoCHA cognitive-health monitoring project and similar upcoming efforts, as well as to pursue collaborative research and propose new projects. Interested applicants should send a CV, contact information for two references, and a cover letter highlighting project-relevant skills, experience and interests to Dr. Ilya Farber at jobs.pds.ihpc@gmail.com with the subject line "PDS Research Scientist application". These are 100% research, full-time positions with benefits. Initial term will be 2 years, with possibility of renewal. PhD must be in hand before start of contract.
