The position begins 9/2015. Applicants possessing strong design and statistical skills are especially desired as the position will require the teaching of advanced graduate research methods and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., multivariate, scaling, modeling), in addition to other courses within the applicant’s primary area of interest, undergraduate courses and academic advising. Other core training areas in our doctoral program include Cognition/Perception and Neuroscience. A Ph.D. in psychology or closely related discipline is required. The Psychology Department at Rutgers-Newark strongly emphasizes research, and offers excellent facilities including individual lab space, in-house tech support, and an ample and well-organized subject pool. The modern Rutgers University Brain Imaging Center (RUBIC) is on site.
