Assistant Professor, Psychopathology and Behavioral Disorder - The Department of Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in psychopathology and behavioral disorder. The particular area of research is open, but we seek an individual who has experience with psychosocial interventions in families, schools, community settings, or other contexts. Successful candidates for this position must have a strong record of research and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching. The candidate's substantive interests should complement and extend those of the developmental, social, personality, clinical, health, and cultural psychologists in the department. The department does not offer training in clinical psychology but is developing a graduate emphasis in psychopathology and behavioral disorder, and the ideal candidate will be able to contribute to this emerging emphasis.
