Cognitive or Social Psychologist - University of Florida: The Department of Marketing at the University of Florida invites applicants for one assistant professor position, effective August 2002. We are especially interested in candidates having research interests in memory, categorization, decision making, attitudes and social cognition. Applicants should have a keen interest in theory development and applications to consumer and / or managerial contexts. Applicants must have a Ph.D., or be ABD near completion, and should exhibit a potential for innovative and impactful research. Our faculty is composed of an attractive mix of consumer researchers, marketing strategists, and quantitative modelers. We offer a supportive research environment with limited teaching pressure.
