SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY - OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY. The psychology department at Ohio State invites applications for two positions in social psychology. Although the rank is open for both positions, we anticipate making one hire at the full professor level and the other at a more junior level (beginning Assistant to advanced Associate Professor). We have some interest in individuals with expertise in stereotyping and prejudice, social neuroscience, close relationships, and/or political psychology, but the quality of the work is more important than any particular subject area. All applicants are expected to have active research programs and contribute to both graduate and undergraduate supervision and instruction. Send a letter of application, vita, and three letters of recommendation to: Social Search Committee, Department of Psychology, Ohio State University, 1885 Neil Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210-1222. To ensure consideration, application materials must be received by November 15, 2001, but applications will be reviewed until the positions are filled. For more information about the department, visit: www.psy.ohio-state.edu. OSU is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
