| Asst. Prof. of Cognitive Developmental Psychology | | | | | | | The Psychology Department at Tufts University is seeking applicants at the assistant professor level for a tenure-track position in Cognitive Developmental Psychology to begin September, 2014. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. He or she will show evidence of an active research program, capable of supporting extramural funding that investigates theoretical aspects of cognitive development across different parts of the lifespan. Areas of research that bridge to current faculty are highly desirable. Appropriate areas of expertise might include, but are not limited to: emotion, language, social or spatial cognition, memory, or the contribution and impact of genetics on behavior or development. Applicants combining behavioral and neuroscience approaches are of considerable interest. Applicants should be willing and able to teach introductory and advanced courses in developmental psychology as well as contribute to quantitatively oriented laboratory courses and participate in our Ph.D. graduate program.
