ONE PROFESSOR/READER, ONE SENIOR LECTURER, THREE LECTURERS, FOUR GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Following a major review of the University's academic portfolio Psychology has been identified as an area of growing strength within the institution. Continuing our restructuring and development, the Department is now seeking to appoint one Professor/Reader, one Senior Lecturer, three Lecturers and four Graduate Teaching Assistants. The successful applicants will have a major impact on the development of research and teaching in this well-established, highly ambitious, and expanding department. A planned move into new accommodation is currently underway. The Department has particular strengths and research groupings in the areas of Human Assessment and Performance, Psychological Health and Well-being, and Applied Cognition and Development. Applicants with research and teaching interests in any area of psychology are welcomed although applicants with research interests in one or more of the following are particularly encouraged: human performance/experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, occupational/work psychology, health psychology, developmental psychology. An ability to teach statistics and methodology to undergraduate students will be an advantage for one of these posts.
