The Department of Psychology at Mississippi State University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor level position for the 2001-2002 academic year. Applicants from all specializations within psychology are welcome. The candidate will teach undergraduate experimental psychology, general psychology, and perhaps a course in his or her specialization. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in psychology received or expected by August 2001. Send vita and names of three references to: Dr. Stephen B. Klein, Head, Department of Psychology, P.O. Located in a pleasant sun-belt community, Mississippi State University is one of the top 100 research universities in the nation, and both research and teaching excellence are explicitly valued. The Department of Psychology has an 18-member faculty, offers master's degree concentrations in clinical and experimental psychology, and has an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in applied cognitive science.
