The University of Windsor invites applications for a Tenure-Track position in Psychology in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to commence as early as July 1, 2001. If a suitable candidate is not found for appointment on July 1, 2001, the position will be readvertised with a new deadline date. The dates of appointment allowable by the Collective Agreement are July 1, August 1, and January 1.

The Psychology Department serves a large undergraduate population and offers doctoral degrees in Applied Social Psychology and in the Adult Clinical, Clinical/Developmental and Clinical Neuropsychology areas that comprise its APA- and CPA-accredited Clinical Psychology Program. As a member of the Applied Social Psychology program, the successful candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate student research, practica and internships, and engage in collaborative research.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Psychology by the date of appointment, and a record of research and teaching activity in the broad area of industrial/organizational psychology. Candidates in the final stage of completing their doctoral degrees will be considered, if a defense date can be set prior to the date of appointment. Possible areas of specialization include organizational change and development, program evaluation, personnel selection, organizational justice, and diversity issues in the workplace.
