He would like this student to begin working full-time around June-July. In addition, Dr. Luborsky would like a student who has experience with computers and who is familiar with and interested in psychotherapy process variables such as the therapeutic alliance or psychotherapy research in general. The job involves approximately 35 hours of work per week, and the responsibilities include assisting in the design of studies, entering and analyzing data, preparing manuscripts, conducting literature searches, overseeing student-workers, and other research-related duties. This position regularly leads to co-authorship opportunities on research papers and offers extensive research experience that graduate schools look for. Nearly every Research Assistant goes on to Clinical Psychology Graduate School.
