The Psychology Department at Santa Clara University has an opening for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Social/Personality Psychology. The candidate’s scholarly focus can be in either Social Psychology or Personality. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Social or Personality Psychology. Advanced ABDs may apply if the Ph.D. will be completed by September 1, 2013.

The candidate should have a research program that can incorporate undergraduates and should be prepared to teach courses in social psychology, personality, research methods, and additional courses in her/his area of expertise. Potential collaboration with other departments (e.g., Anthropology, Economics, Environmental Studies, Ethnic Studies, Sociology, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Departments in the Business School) is encouraged. The appointment will begin September, 2013.
