| Research Specialist I | | | | | | | Position Summary: The Socio-Cognitive Processes Lab in the Department of Psychology at Princeton University invites applications for a full-time Research Specialist position. This is a one-year position with possibility of renewal based on funding availability. Work includes collecting behavioral data exploring the propagation of cognition in social networks. Assist with all aspects of research, which involves recruitment of participants, behavioral data collection, data coding, entry and analysis, preparation of manuscripts for publication and administrative lab duties. Essential Qualifications: At least two years of research experience in a psychology laboratory that involved behavioral data collection, data entry and analysis constitute key assets. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills are required. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications: Position requires minimum BA or BS degree in Psychology (or related field) and experience such that one can perform research in a social science field or discipline. Orientation to detail, conscientiousness, and genuine interest to pursue psychological research are qualities that are critical to perform well in this position.
