VACANCY FOR VISITING PROFESSOR IN SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY.
POSITION
This position is available from the 1st September 2001, for a period of one year at the Department of Psychology, University of PARIS 10, FRANCE.
MAIN DUTIES
As visiting professor of experimental social psychology, you could develop your own line of research within the scope of the interests of the department of Social Psychology and collaborate with the members of the department, concentrating on the following objectives:
- Participation in research projects in one of the areas of social cognition (causal attribution, cognitive dissonance, judgment of responsibility, stereotypes, group processes, social judgment, social influence or other related areas)
- Teaching mostly in FRENCH and partly in English to different level students of psychology (mainly graduates students).
-Participating to research seminars.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The applicants are distinguished scientists in the area of social psychology. They have a national and international prominence in theoretically-driven social psychological research.
REMUNERATION
A full-time appointment for Professor for a period of one year. Salary scale in accordance with French Universities.

Ce poste est ouvert à partir du 1er Septembre 2001, pour une période d’un an au Département de Psychologie, Université de PARIS 10, FRANCE.
OCCUPATONS PRINCIPALES
En tant que professeur invité en psychologie sociale expérimentale, vous pourrez développer vos propres axes de recherche dans le cadre des intérêts du département de Psychologie sociale et collaborer avec les membres du département, en vous concentrant sur les objectifs suivants :
- Participer aux projets de recherche dans l’un des champs de la cognition sociale (attribution causale, dissonance cognitive, jugement de responsabilité, stéréotypes, processus de groupe, jugement social, influence sociale ou autres thèmes reliés).
- Enseigner en FRANCAIS et en partie en Anglais aux étudiants en psychologie de différents niveaux d’étude (principalement niveau deuxième cycle).
-Participer aux séminaires de recherche.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES
Les candidats sont des scientifiques reconnus dans le champ de la Psychologie Sociale. Ils ont une reconnaissance nationale et internationale sur des thématiques de recherches en Psychologie Sociale appuyées sur des théories.
REMUNERATION
Une rémunération d’un Professeur pour une période d’un an en accord avec l’échelle des salaires des universités Françaises.
