We seek a colleague in Psychology to teach a variety of courses in the broad areas of social and applied psychology, Introductory Psychology, and advanced courses in an area of particular expertise. Our new colleague will join the Social Sciences and Education Department, a multi-discipline department offering majors in Psychology and Child Development, among others. The ideal candidate will bring a willingness to teach courses at all levels, and the ability and desire to participate in the college’s liberal education program. An appropriate doctoral degree is required, as are evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level and a philosophy of education consonant with Colby-Sawyer’s programs and mission. This tenure-eligible Assistant Professorship begins September 2001.
