We seek to appoint a lecturer with an active research programme. The successful candidate will be expected to develop initiatives in areas of research that complement existing strengths in our department. We are seeking applicants who have a track record of research in cross-cultural psychology or in health psychology. Health psychology applicants would ideally have a demonstrable interest in health and culture. All applicants must have a PhD in Psychology or a related subject and a strong track record of research. The successful candidate will be required to work with members of the Psychology Department and other members of the School in achieving Department, School and University goals and objectives. A teaching contribution to the Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate programmes in Psychology will be required and also a contribution to the recruitment and supervision of research students.
