The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia is seeking to fill one Assistant Professor tenure-track position beginning August, 2012 in social-personality psychology. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology and an established research program. The potential to obtain external grant support is also highly desirable. Area of interest is open, but an ideal candidate will show potential for establishing interesting collaborative relationships across areas in the department and across campus. Established collaborative associations on campus that provide excellent research development possibilities include the Institute for Behavioral Research, the Bioimaging Research Center (equipped with 3T f/MRI, MEG, high-density EEG), the Center for Gene-Social Environment Transactions, and the Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute.
