Johnson | Date Posted: | January 11th, 2001 | | | | | | | | The post-doctoral associate(s) will collaborate on ongoing NIMH-funded research projects under the direction of either Jeffrey D. Fisher, Blair T. Johnson, or both. More than one position is available contingent on funding, with start date(s) flexible; two-year commitment sought; salaries are competitive. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D., preferably with a specialization in social, health, or clinical psychology, and have some expertise with research design and data analysis (e.g., SEM, meta-analysis). Possible primary responsibilities may include assisting with research and reviews of research on HIV prevention interventions in or outside the USA, working to establish a multi-disciplinary team to conduct international HIV prevention research, assisting with a large-scale clinician-delivered HIV risk reduction intervention among HIV+ patients, assisting in the development of theory-based medication adherence interventions, investigating social structural variables involved in health, and other topics of mutual interest. Other duties include literature and funding searches, data collection and analyses, writing of journal articles and grant proposals.
