| Assistant Professor of Psychology (tenure-track) | | | | | | | The Department of Psychology at Providence College invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in psychology and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and the ability to engage undergraduate students in research. Candidates should possess a strong quantitative background with demonstrated interest in multicultural/diversity issues or in cross-cultural perspectives on behavior. Teaching responsibilities include a survey course and upper-division courses in social psychology; rotation through a year-long, integrated research design/statistical analysis course with a laboratory; and introduction to psychology as needed. Typical teaching load is three courses per semester.
