Job Title: Lab Manager (Jost Lab, New York University)
Supervisor: Professor John Jost
Note: This position is part-time, averaging about 10 hours per week.

General Purpose: Maintain the organization of the lab in such a way that supports its members and facilitates research.

Duties include but are not limited to:
-- Develop and maintain web content to support the lab website and lab wiki (in coordination with the IT department).
-- Attend and contribute to weekly lab meetings.
-- Conduct literature reviews, search out articles, and consolidate relevant information.
-- Conduct SPSS analyses or prepare data for analysis.
-- Act as liaison for faculty members or graduate students at other universities as needed.
-- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
-- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. (Psychology, Political Science, or Philosophy majors preferred, though all are welcome to apply.)
-- Excellent organizational skills.
-- Experience in a research laboratory.
-- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with faculty members.
-- Proficient with word, excel, pubmed/google scholar, and preferably SPSS.

Note: This is an ideal position for a student looking for research experience before applying to graduate programs in psychology, philosophy, or political psychology.
