ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Quantitative with other specialty in Social/ Personality/Developmental/ or Biopsychology.

Howard University invites applications for one anticipated tenure-track, assistant professor position to begin fall, 2011. Candidates are sought with a strong psychometrics/quantitative background and with a specialization in one of the above listed areas of psychology. Requirements: (1) Ph.D. in psychology (will consider ABD with Ph.D. imminent), (2) commitment to excellent teaching, and (3) research promise/accomplishment. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, advising, mentoring students, and university service. Teaching responsibilities will include research methods and statistics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additional courses would include those in the candidate’s other specialty area at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
