The Glendale Community College Psychology Department is inviting applications for two full-time residential faculty positions. The individuals will be required to teach the standard teaching load of 15 credit hours per semester to a diverse population of students in accordance with the goals and philosophy of the GCC Psychology Department. Areas of instruction may include Introduction to Statistics with lab, Research Methods with lab, Psychology and Culture, and other introductory level psychology courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching of psychology in a two-year school setting and will be dedicated to the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Glendale Community College is a comprehensive two-year institution that offers extensive academic and occupational programs. The college serves approximately 19,000 students every semester. The psychology department at GCC currently has 10 full-time and approximately 25 part-time instructors. Our department includes faculty with academic backgrounds covering a broad spectrum of the field of psychology. For more information about Psychology at GCC you may view our website at:

The starting salary range on this position for those with the Ph.D. degree is competitive ($54,596- $81,119) depending on experience. The starting salary may be lower for those with a master’s degree based on experience.
