The University of Michigan-Flint, Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology to begin Fall 2001. Research specialization is open. Ph.D. required. Desirable qualifications include undergraduate teaching effectiveness, a coherent research program, the ability to develop new courses in his/her specialty, and the interest in and ability to supervise undergraduate research assistants. The successful candidate must be able to teach social psychology (including a possible laboratory course), theories of personality, either statistics or research methods, and introductory psychology. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Set within an affordable community accessible to varied cultural and recreational activities, the University offers a modern riverside campus, laboratory facilities a nd internal funding opportunities.
