| Assistant Professor of Applied Social Psychology | | | | | | | George Washington University seeks to fill a tenure-track position for an Assistant Professor of Applied Social Psychology, to begin in Fall, 2011. We are seeking applicants with an established research background in social cognitive approaches to the study of health and risk-taking behaviors. We are open with respect to particular area of expertise. Applicants will be expected to teach a graduate course in social cognition and undergraduate courses in social psychology. Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in social psychology or a closely related field in hand by August 1, 2011, a commitment to research as evidenced by publications in scholarly journals, and a planned research program with the potential for future external funding. Salary and startup funds are very competitive. Application Procedure: Only complete applications will be considered.
