A Ph.D. in Social Psychology or a closely related field is required; area of specialization is open. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in social psychology, personality, research methods, introductory psychology, and others as needed; normal teaching load is 4:4. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience and a program of research that can involve undergraduate students. Misericordia University, an 85-year-old institution founded by the Sisters of Mercy, offering baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees, is located adjacent to the Pocono Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania, approximately 2 hours from New York City, and Philadelphia.
