The Reed College psychology department announces two one-year visiting positions at the assistant professor level, beginning August, 2009, in Social, Clinical, or Health Psychology. One of these positions is a half-load for the full year. A full-time position involves teaching four courses (two each semester), with at least one having lab time (or supervised field work) associated with it, and also advising year-long senior thesis projects. One of the classes could include participation in a team-taught Introductory Psychology course. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach introductory statistics and who have completed the Ph.D.
Applications should include a vita, a statement of research and teaching interests, three letters of recommendation, and any other materials that will help us assess the candidate's research and teaching experience.
