The Department of Psychology at the University of Oklahoma seeks \applicants for three (3) tenure track positions. Successful applicants will be expected to maintain active research programs, secure extramural funds, direct doctoral students, participate in undergraduate education, and integrate with existing graduate training programs in Cognitive, Social/Personality, Quantitative, Industrial/Organizational, Biological, and Developmental psychology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. Applications from women and minorities are especially welcome.

SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY--Assistant Professor. Applicants in any area of social psychology will be considered although candidates with specializations in basic affective, cognitive, and motivational processes underlying complex social phenomena are of particular interest. Ability to teach group process/dynamics, health psychology, or contribute to other program areas is desirable.

COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY-Assistant Professor. We are seeking applicants to strengthen our focus on areas of real-time cognition including but not limited to work on attention, working memory, categorization, and ecological/rational models. Ability to integrate with existing faculty research interests in perception, knowledge, and memory, as well as having an appreciation for research applications, is highly desired. I/O PSYCHOLOGIST-Assistant Professor. Applicants from all areas of I/O Psychology are welcome although special attention will be given to applicants with a demonstrated interest in teams (groups), quantitative methods, or complex problem solving in social settings.
