Opportunity in Social Psychology Research at the Australian National University.
The Department of Psychology wishes to appoint a Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to an Australian Research Council funded Linkage project entitled “Understanding the school as an intergroup system: Implications for school reform and improving student and staff outcomes” partnering with the ACT Department of Education and Training (salary AUS$54,252-$65,467 plus 17% superannuation). The position will be for a two or three-year fixed term period.
The project focuses on the areas of intergroup relations, social identity, organisational change, the role of the group in individual psychological functioning (personality and well-being) and learning and behaviour.
The Department of Psychology at the Australian National University has a strong national and international reputation in social psychology. Also the ANU is currently the top ranked tertiary institution in Australia, and is often ranked in the top 50 or so universities in world.
