| Assistant Professor, Social Psychology | | | | | | | Assistant Professor in Social Psychology: The Department of Psychology at Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY) announces a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor (Salary range: $38,001-$67,092) beginning in the Fall of 2009. Candidates must have a doctoral degree specializing in Social Psychology or a closely-related field. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have: (a) a record of strong empirical research productivity in Social Neuroscience, Social Psychology or Epidemiology, (b) a record or potential of attracting extramural research funding, (c) a record and/or commitment to teaching undergraduate, graduate and doctoral-level courses in the area of Social Psychology and related courses. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Social Psychology and related fields, may participate in the Neuropsychology and/or other related CUNY Doctoral Sub-Programs, and establish a program of empirical research. Candidates should submit a letter of application stating their research and academic qualifications, training and goals; a curriculum vitae; sample publications and arrange for at least three current letters of recommendation to be sent to the Social Psychology Search Committee, Department of Psychology, Queens College, CUNY, 65-30, Kissena Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11367-1567.
