The Psychology Department at Whitman College invites applicants for a one year visiting position for the 2008-09 academic year at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking candidates with expertise in social psychology, personality, and/or gender. The successful candidate will offer six courses over the academic year, including some combination of introductory psychology, intermediate-level content courses, upper-level seminars in the candidate’s area of specialty, and the supervision of undergraduate theses. Ph.D. or international equivalent required although ABD candidates will be considered.
