We are currently seeking motivated individuals with a commitment to excellence for the on going National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The NHANES involves in-person household interviews and medical examinations conducted in a mobile examination center. Qualified candidates must possess a degree in Psychology, Sociology, or the Social Sciences. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish. Must be certified by Westat in both languages.
Mobile Examination Center interviewers are part of a 15-person team that travels throughout the U.S. While at a work site, the medical staff resides in hotels and travel to the mobile examination center to complete their work; a 48-week period of FULL-TIME CONTINUOUS TRAVEL IS REQUIRED. Candidates undergo a federally mandated background security and driving record check. Benefits include a competitive salary, bonuses, paid lodging, per diem ranging from $39-$64 per day, company car, and insurance or car allowance, paid holidays, ESOP, 401k; health insurance is offered at a cost.
