We will be searching for a tenure-track position in social psychology, as well as a visiting position in social psychology (for either one semester or both semesters of 2008-2009). Here is the ad for the tenure-track position:

WILLIAMS COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applications for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology, beginning July 1, 2008. Candidates should have Ph.D. or dissertation completed by time of appointment. Applications are invited in all areas of specialization. A distinctive feature of Williams among liberal arts colleges is the equal importance of, and support for, research and teaching. Our faculty are active and productive researchers, benefiting from excellent research facilities and internal support. A common yearly course load consists of a survey course in Social Psychology, the social section of a team-taught Introductory Psychology course (taught once each semester), and an upper-level research seminar in the candidate’s area of interest, with an accompanying lab. Candidates should be able and willing to teach occasionally in our Experimentation and Statistics course and interdisciplinary psychology senior seminar. We seek excellent teachers with productive research programs.
