The University of Richmond seeks to fill two tenure-track assistant professor positions, one in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and one in Social Psychology. Faculty are expected to commit to highly effective teaching at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum and to maintain a vigorous research program, actively engage undergraduates in substantive research, and attract extramural support. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research interests intersect with the areas of cognitive, developmental/aging, or neuroscience.

Candidates should have completed the Ph.D. degree by the August 2008 start date. Send vita, statements of teaching philosophy and research plan, and three letters of reference (to be sent directly by the referees) to Jane Berry, Chair, Department of Psychology, University of Richmond, VA 23173. Review of applications will commence October 1, 2007 and continue until the position is filled.
