Responsibilities are to assist Dr. Brenda Major in conducting grant-related research on psychological and psychophysiological (cardiovascular, hormonal) responses to stress associated with stigma and discrimination. Successful applicant will have Ph.D. in social and/or health psychology, strong skills in statistical analyses, writing, and experimental design, and background in intergroup relations, biology of stress, and/or emotion. Experience in measurement and analysis of psychophysiological responses desirable. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research and service.
