The Technological Interventions for Ecological Systems (TIES) Lab at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking an in-person, full-time Research Associate in the Department of Psychology to work with Assistant Professor Dr. Adela Timmons.

Research in the TIES Lab focuses on big data analytic and pervasive computing methods for building adaptive and responsive mental health interventions with the goal of increasing the reach and impact of mental health care. A special focus of TIES lab applications includes collecting data on couples and families from historically under-resourced and under-served backgrounds and investigating the impact of stress and adversity on family processes and child development. Another focus of the lab relates to addressing health disparities, especially AI ethics and bias in AI models.
