The Kellogg Experimental Laboratory at the Kellogg School of Management has an opening for a Lab Manager. The Lab Manager will work closely with researchers by coordinating, and overseeing research studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the day-to-day activities for multiple research projects; Schedule the use of lab space for lab members and research activities; Manage the subject pool by recruiting, screening and keeping records of research participants; Compensate subjects for research participation and maintain bookkeeping records; Recruit, hire, and train research assistants; Order and maintain lab supplies and hardware; Ensure Institutional Review Board (IRB) compliance and conformity to lab policies.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Master’s and knowledge of SPSS/SAS or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with experimental research in the social sciences. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills is a priority. Ability to effectively supervise others.
