The Department of Psychology at Brock University invites applications for a probationary tenure-track appointment in the area of social and personality psychology at the assistant professor level effective July 1, 2005, subject to final budgetary approval. A Ph.D. in psychology is preferred (applicants without a completed Ph.D. will be considered for an appointment at the rank of Lecturer). We are seeking an individual with a strong research record and a strong commitment to teaching. Applicants willing and able to teach statistics at the undergraduate/graduate level are especially encouraged to apply. We will consider applicants having research and teaching interests in any content area of personality and social psychology, including but not limited to such areas as media psychology, health psychology, clinical psychology, and social cognition.
