The Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for an assistant or associate level, tenure track position in either social, personality, or social/personality development. A Ph.D. is required for candidates in any of these areas, along with a record of demonstrated success as a researcher. Preferred candidates will do behaviorally focused research at the level of dyads (e.g., peer interactions, interactions in marriage or in medical contexts) or small groups (e.g., family members, work groups). UTA has a respected and highly ranked Ph.D. program in experimental psychology. The University is conveniently located in the center of the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. Review of applications will begin on October 15, 2004, and will continue until the position is filled.
