The University of Central Florida Department of Psychology, pending budgetary approval, anticipates hiring for a non-tenured lecturer position. Preferred start date, August 8, 2011. A Ph.D. at the start of employment is required. All areas of specialization will be considered. Principal assignment is undergraduate instruction. The UCF Psychology Department consists of approximately 50 energetic, collegial, research-practitioner faculty members, 3500 undergraduate majors, Ph.D. programs in Clinical, Human Factors and I/O Psychology, and terminal masters programs in I/O and Clinical. UCF is the second largest university in the United States with an enrollment of 56,000 students. The main campus is located close to downtown Orlando on a 1200-acre campus within one hour of the Atlantic Ocean, Kennedy Space Center, the Disney World complex and other family entertainment and cultural attractions. In addition there are several regional campuses, including those at Daytona, Cocoa, West Palm Bay, Lake Mary, and Claremont.
