We are interested in candidates with professional specialization in counseling, biopsychology, and/or social psychology and the ability to teach in other areas (e.g., human sexuality, psychology of aging, educational psychology, forensic psychology) to complement existing departmental strengths. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, a desire to communicate the empirical base of psychology to students, and an appreciation of the mission of small liberal arts institutions. The ideal candidate will possess an earned Ph.D. in Psychology and demonstrated quantitative skills. Candidates who are ABD may be considered. Located one hour south of Atlanta, LaGrange is a four-year liberal arts and sciences college offering 54 academic, pre-professional and professional programs. Home to more than 1,000 students and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the College is ranked in the top 10 and as one of three “up- and- coming” schools among Southern comprehensive colleges by U.S. News and World Report.
