evolve24, LLC, Research Department seeks candidates for two Research Scientist positions in Psychology, Social Psychology, Psycholinguistics or related fields. Our search is focused on candidates with research interest in the role of language and/or culture in cognition, beliefs, motivation, and individual and group behavior. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and applied research interests are required.
Ideal candidates will excel in the following areas: theoretical knowledge of their field of specialization, quantitative empirical skills (including formal statistical modeling using large data sets), and written and oral communication skills.
Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a dynamic, team-based environment spanning fields in information, cognitive, and social sciences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• research on the role of language and culture in belief formation
• research on the validity of evolve24 algorithms modeling reputation, risk perception, and choice under uncertainty
• research on topical applications related to the candidate’s area of specialization
• product improvement and new product development through participation on interdisciplinary teams
• classroom instruction of staff research associates engaged in client directed research and quality assurance through the development of protocols for analysis of client research project quality
• participation on client research teams, including participation in client engagements and meetings to brief clients on key findings of research
