Accelerated Consultant Development Program
Senior Associate Job Profile
Location: New York

Oliver Wyman – Delta Organization & Leadership consults to companies based in North America and Europe, with a focus on the design and leadership of large-scale organization change at the senior-most levels of the organization. The Accelerated Consultant Development Program is an eighteen-month, concentrated, work-based development experience, whereby new consultants will deliver real client work in active client systems.

General Role Requirements
–Participates as an active member of engagement teams by making significant contributions in delivering the firm’s value proposition
–Establishes and builds relationships with appropriate, key client contacts
–Participates constructively in engagement meetings (internal and external)
–Generates client deliverables; makes significant contributions in the development of our intellectual capital
–Participates in local and global learning activities, takes advantage of internal or external learning opportunities
–Continuously advances knowledge in organizational change concepts and methodology, models, approaches, and frameworks
–Utilization target of 155-175 days (70-80%)

Relevant Experience and Capabilities
–Academic grounding in Organizational Psychology; Masters preferred
–Experience in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field
–Project Management capability

–Analytical Thinking: Able to conduct complex and detailed analysis of assessment. Skilled at analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.
–Intellectual Capacity: Able to grasp complex concepts quickly, integrate ideas and perspectives from related work/fields, and synthesize multiple sources of information in a short period of time. Has a high level of intuition and is a broad thinker.
–Oral and Written Communication Skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills, and is able to effect positive change through communication.
–Organizational Skills: Has excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently. Able to handle the pressure of working towards a zero-defect standard under time constraints, and has high degree of attention to detail.
–Professional Presence: Projects a high degree of professionalism and confidence. Acts with utmost integrity and transparency.
–Consultative Skills: Able to develop strong client relationships, add value through creative ideas and solutions, is data-driven and results oriented.
–Business Development Skills: Able to see opportunities for additional work streams which accelerates the CEO’s change agenda while creating new business for the firm
–Receptivity to Learning: Constantly seeks to improve personal and group effectiveness by staying abreast of developments in the professional and business literature; able to apply learning to improve personal and group efficiency
