The position is for one year with a possible renewal and is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project combines economic and psychological theories and methods to examine referent dependent evaluations (e.g., social comparison processes) and their relevance for well-being, decision making, and choice. Experience with research on emotions is desirable. Responsibilities include: designing and conducting behavioral experiments, doing statistical analyses, writing manuscripts for publication, and coordinating research assistants. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a sense of initiative, strong quantitative skills, and good conceptual, writing, and organizational skills. No teaching is necessary.
